Mr W. James McNemey, Jr, Chairman,
President & CEO of Boeing Company,
regarding possible uses of
Boeing
technology
for medical applications
Dear
Sir
During
a meeting at the French organization,
Association Française de Normalisation (AFNOR,
www.afnor.org
) on April 4, 2012, which dealt with Corporate Social
Responsability and Innovation, I heard that the need to
adapt to rapid changes in the marketplace make it difficult
for you to predict what your industrial activity will be in
the mid- to long-term.
Please
excuse my over simplification in saying that you simply
build ‘flying boxes’, which allow people to travel safely.
To accomplish this, you equip your
‘flying boxes’ with advanced technology such as automatic
pilots and instruments to monitor the flight data and to
keep pilots informed.
If
you remove the wings and the human pilot, what do you have
left ? You have a box with high-tech instruments to measure
pressure, altitude, speed, etc.
That is the essential idea of the
PreventiPod free-standing medical examination unit where a
series of personalised medical tests may be carried out in a
remote location.
We
invite you to visit
www.preventipod.com/home.htm to explore how this idea
for innovative free standing personal medical examination
pod could be of interest to your company.
Please contact me if any further
information is needed. I remain available if
you have any questions.
Best
regards
